Casa Bonita is based in Southern California with production plant in Peru.
Our pieces are crafted by master artisans inspired by Old World designs and created using tropical hardwoods like Mohena and Tornillo, high quality wood veener might be applied in some cases for special details.
The manufacturing process starts with the Kiln dry of the wood followed by the pest control process, once the raw wood has been treated the creative process start and the unique pieces of furniture are assembled. After phase 1 is completed, the assembled piece goes to the pre-Finish process that consists in several stages of sanding by hand and application of different pain bases. In the finish process, several layers of paints and acrylics are applied to give its unique texture and color. During this process each piece is hard distressed and hard polish. Since every piece is painted by hand colors might slightly vary.
We build our case goods with Mortise and Tenon joinery. Our exterior hardware is individually hard forged from wrought iron pieces.
